Varnish Software powers the most demanding web sites across all industry types—for businesses such as the New York Times, Nikon, Transport for London and Vimeo as well as more than 2.3 million websites worldwide. The Varnish Plus commercial suite offers products for scalability, customization, monitoring and expert support services. Additionally, the newly released Varnish API Engine is Varnish Software’s high performing API Management solution that can handle up to 20,000 API calls per second.
The Varnish Summits offer users and partners the opportunity to engage with members of the Varnish Software team, together with special guests, customer speakers and Varnish Cache users from across North America.
“The Varnish Summits give all of us in the Varnish community an opportunity to come together, for learning and sharing how to get the most out of advanced applications of Varnish,” said Per Buer, Founder & CTO, Varnish Software. “The Varnish Summits focus on what’s empowering today’s highest performance websites to reach new measures of scalability. At the Summits in the U.S. we’ll announce a brand new addition to Varnish Plus, Varnish Cache Plus SSL backend support. Having Varnish support SSL without having to add a third party dependency will simplify the life of Varnish Plus users everywhere. Furthermore, we’ll explore new functionality of Varnish Plus in addition to presenting how you can future-proof your API strategy using our new product, Varnish API Engine,” Buer said.
