TrueVault, the data security company that makes HIPAA compliance simple for healthcare applications, announced today the launch of TrueVault Connect, the first white-labeled Identity Management solution for unified sign-in, delivering a simple, secure way for enterprises to provide access to health, financial and other sensitive data with third-party partners and applications.
TrueVault Connect integrates directly into TrueVault’s Secure Data Store, which not only encrypts, but also shreds data and distributes each atomized piece to a different data center to protect highly sensitive information. TrueVault’s developer-friendly API allows data to be stored easily in the secure system, so enterprises can generate, integrate, and share data while future proofing their infrastructure for developments in Big Data and the Internet of Things. TrueVault’s data store is HIPAA compliant and white hat tested.
TrueVault Connect is the natural complement to TrueVault’s Secure Data Store. Many healthcare organizations are using TrueVault to consolidate disparate data sets from multiple systems, both internal and external, and finding innovative ways to apply the unified data to better serve its customers. TrueVault’s Secure Data Store has long enabled its enterprise users to consolidate and unify data silos in a secure and developer-friendly way without having to replace their existing infrastructure. Now with TrueVault Connect, end-users can access data that exist in separate systems, such as health, billing and benefits data, via a unified view and one sign-in credential.
TrueVault Connect:
– Eliminates the need for enterprises to replicate, export or sync data for cross-application sharing – instead, they can provide secure access from a single account credential and dedicated data store.
– Enables enterprises to maintain control over the user sign-in experience with a white-labeled, proven product.
– Connects external partners to data from multiple sources in one secure data warehouse.
– Is an enterprise-grade, secure alternative to single sign-in tools designed for consumer use, such as Facebook Connect.
“TrueVault Connect is a big leap forward for enterprises looking for their own branded solution to give their customers unified access to their data,” said Jason Wang, CEO of TrueVault. “TrueVault has a proven track record in data security for healthcare apps, and TrueVault Connect extends this expertise to other types of enterprises that want to connect data seamlessly across third parties, and secure the data in a centralized repository where it be can accessed by customers and other stakeholders. We see a lot of potential for this in financial services and Internet of Things environments.”
TrueVault Connect is available immediately to enterprises.
