SYSPRO, a provider of best-of-breed, award-winning enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for on-premise, cloud-based and mobile utilization, today announced its listing in Technology Evaluation Centers’ newly issued Cloud ERP Buyers Guide for Manufacturers. A copy of the report is available for downloading at http://www.technologyevaluation.com/research/TEC-buyers-guide/TEC-2016-Cloud-ERP-Buyers-Guide-for-Manufacturing.html.
The new Cloud ERP Buyer’s Guide is an 82-page report that includes an analysis by TEC analyst Aleksey Osintsev on the cloud-based ERP landscape for manufacturers, considerations and conclusions. Included in the conclusions by Osintsev is this statement: “Many viable deployment models may be suitable for various business situations,” he says. “A combination of the cloud with traditional software may be an option worth serious consideration. The hybrid approach allows manufacturing companies to embrace the benefits of cloud ERP initially with non-mission-critical applications or non-transactional areas of business software. An option for those companies that prefer to keep their data inside their walls could be private cloud deployment, which combines the scalability and flexibility of cloud ERP with the security and data ownership benefits of on-premises software.”
SYSPRO, a 35+ year solution provider long known for providing a wide range of flexible software deployment options, concurs with Osintsev’s views. “With more than 15,000 customers, we’ve got a keen view for motivational factors in manufacturers’ buying preferences,” said Joey Benadretti, President, SYSPRO USA. “The proverbial ‘one size does not fit all’ in the manufacturing space and, as TEC points out, there are multiple factors to consider that include the industry vertical, type of manufactured products, company size, culture, etc.”
