Reltio, the enterprise data-driven applications and modern data management Platform as a Service (PaaS) company, today announced that it has been named a leader in the new report “The Forrester Wave: Master Data Management, Q1 2016.” Reltio believes that this is a rare honor for a new entry into the market to be cited as a leader in this comprehensive study among long-established industry players. Reltio believes that the report overall, and its position in it, highlight the desire for enterprises to maximize business value through relevant contextual insight.
“I believe that Forrester’s research echoes the demands of enterprises today, emphasizing that reliable data is a core foundation to bring any business vision to reality. It is my opinion that our highest score in the strategy category, and the second-highest score in the current offering category, reflect our customer’s confidence and commitment to our platform,” said Manish Sood, CEO at Reltio. “Our core mission goes beyond MDM. We are focused on simplifying all aspects of data management for IT, while delivering high value data-driven applications into the hands of frontline business users. Reltio Cloud achieves this by combining MDM with multi-channel interaction data, predictive analytics, machine learning, all within a unified modern data management platform that operates at Internet scale leveraging big data.”
“The ultimate goal for any enterprise is to achieve the highest business value from its technology investments,” said Ramon Chen, chief marketing officer at Reltio. “Like oxygen and water, reliable data through MDM is now table stakes for businesses of any size. The ability to deliver both analytical insights and operational execution in a single application for their business teams is what every company has been searching for, and it is now a reality. In addition to being named a leader, we are also honored that Reltio received the highest score possible in relation to the business value and context criteria in Forrester’s report.”
Forrester creates the initial list of vendors to be examined based on product fit, customer success and Forrester client demand. The details of the product qualifications were gathered through a combination of lab evaluations, questionnaires, demos and discussions with client references. These evaluations aim to provide the most accurate view of vendor offerings and strategies in this critical market.
“Forrester’s research uncovered a market in which Reltio [and other companies] leads the pack,” the report states. “Leaders demonstrated extensive and MDM capabilities for sophisticated master data scenarios, large complex ecosystems, and data governance to deliver enterprise-scale business value.”
The report also notes: “Reltio executes the vision for next-generation MDM by converging trusted data management with business insight solutions at scale and in the cloud. Machine learning and graph technology capabilities enable a contextual data model while also maintaining temporal and lineage changes of the master data. Social collaboration and CRM-like stewardship interface and visualizations easily support master data evolution. The product achieves operational scale by running Cassandra alongside the graph repository for real-time support, analytics. Business outcomes are captured and appended back to the master data model. Customers describe the solution as easy to work in and describe a good working relationship with Reltio, even when there are challenges. Reltio is cloud only and new to the market with marquee customers. The vendor has strong partnerships with Cognizant and ZS Associates and growing relationships with Deloitte, Accenture, and PwC.”
