SplendidCRM Software, Inc. focuses on helping business integrate customer relationship management (CRM) into existing systems. Established in 2005 and based in NC, it is a private company that does not release its revenue information.
The firm targets small businesses, with one to 250 users, helping leverage their Microsoft technologies. It provides a full set of C# and SQL source code for all its editions. The company describes its product as a commercial open-source Customer Relationship Application.
“SplendidCRM has all the core features of an up-to-date CRM including customer management, lead management, and campaign management. The goal is to have all customer interactions in a single location for all users to access,” says Paul Rony, president, SplendidCRM Software, Inc.
More Splendid
The company releases versions with minor changes every few months, and puts out a major new release every year. It released its newest product version on May 28. “The CRM industry is highly competitive. We need to stay current with the wants and needs of our customers,” explains Rony.
A key difference of the new SplendidCRM is integration with marketing automation systems like HubSpot, Marketo, ConstantContact, and iContact. The company previously integrated with QuickBooks Online.
“Priorities for this series include chatting, advanced reporting, and integration with popular third-party systems,” notes Rony.
There are three versions of SplendidCRM. The Community edition is available for free, the Professional edition is priced at $300 per user, and the Enterprise edition is $480 per user. The Professional and Enterprise editions add business-critical functions like reporting, order management, credit card processing, surveys, team management, and synchronization with third-party systems—including the newly added marketing automation offerings, Exchange Server, Google Apps, and iCloud.
The Enterprise edition has additional features, “including a workflow engine, monthly billing, customer portal, offline applications, field level security,” says Rony.
While it does not release sales figures, the firm notes that it had over 2,000 downloads of its free product within the first few months of the latest version.
