The major enhancements in CODE DX 2.1 include the ability to run it from the cloud, addition of WHITEHAT SENTINEL to its arsenal of Application Security Testing (AST) tools, enhanced JIRA capabilities, and automated data imports from several leading third-party AST tools into Code Dx.

* AVAILABILITY IN THE CLOUD – Code Dx is now available to BITNAMI users to deploy in common cloud environments (i.e. Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Oracle Cloud Platform, VMware vCloud Air). The ability to deploy Code Dx from the cloud allows users to easily leverage the power of the software without the necessary hardware and other resource requirements of an on-premise solution. The cloud availability also enables users to easily test Code Dx without taking the time to download an installer, and allows them to effortlessly scale the solution as their software vulnerability testing needs grow.
* SEAMLESS DATA IMPORTS – Version 2.1 provides additional support for importing finding results directly from several third-party tools, including Checkmarx, Veracode and WhiteHat. This capability saves users significant time, eliminating steps to manually import results data into Code Dx.
* ENHANCED JIRA SUPPORT – Code Dx now supports custom fields enabling advanced JIRA users to view their custom fields in Code Dx. It also offers a template language to map from Code Dx to JIRA providing users the flexibility to decide which JIRA fields they want auto-filled.
* WHITEHAT SENTINEL SUPPORT – In addition to the DOZENS OF COMMERCIAL AND OPEN-SOURCE STATIC APPLICATION SECURITY TESTING (SAST) AND DYNAMIC APPLICATION SECURITY TESTING (DAST) TOOLS it already supports, Code Dx also supports WhiteHat Sentinel SAST, DAST and manual review solutions.
