Bizagi, the US-based provider of Business Process Management (BPMS) software, has launched a new suite of services designed to support today’s social and dispersed workforce.
The latest version of Bizagi Modeler, v3.0 will enable 500K+ Bizagi Community users to save and access their work freely, away from the restrictions of their desktops.
“Now, anyone who signs up to Bizagi can access their processes from their tablet or smartphone, anytime, anywhere. Bizagi Modeler is free, and it always will be. What we’re offering our Community is a storage facility, plus the ability to upgrade to more feature-rich collaboration features if they so choose.” says Gustavo Gomez, CEO for Bizagi.
Bizagi Cloud Collaboration Services – available for a 30-day trial – contains a wealth of features designed to help users edit, analyze and collaborate, as well as working offline.
Collaboration
For example, social-style comment boxes allow users – both Mac and PC – to participate in discussion threads and post comments from any device.
“We know that our users know and like the social features they get on their phones and tablets. Using the comment feature, teams can close the loop on processes faster and more effectively, whenever they happen to be.” says Andrea Dominguez, Whole Product Manager for Bizagi.
Offline working
Another key feature is Bizagi’s powerful offline working capabilities, which enable users to ‘check out’ process models, work on them, and sync their changes once they have re-established an internet connection. While checked out, other users will not be able to work on the model but can still make comments.
“Powerful offline capability is crucial in today’s workplace. Our customers tell us that they frequently find themselves in ‘dead zones’ without internet connectivity. Our new services allow our busy users to continue working on their processes as a team with no drop-offs in productivity.” says Bizagi CEO and founder Gustavo Gomez.
Getting started in Bizagi Cloud
To start working in the Cloud, Bizagi users must first download the latest version of Bizagi Modeler, where they can start saving models in the cloud straight away.
To take advantage of the Collaboration features such as sharing and offline working, users are also invited to participate in a trial where they can enjoy all the team-working benefit, free for 30 days.
Should users wish to continue using Bizagi Cloud Collaboration services, they can easily upgrade to the Bizagi Cloud Workgroup Plan. Gomez concludes:
“We took the Bizagi Modeler our subscribers know and love and made it available in the Cloud. I urge all the Bizagi Community to take full advantage of the free 30-day trial and see the benefits for themselves. Expect more exciting news and developments in this space during the next 12 months, stay tuned!”
