Asure Software (NASDAQ:ASUR), a global provider of human capital management and workplace management software solutions, has announced that it will release a complete redesign of the Resource Scheduler Web Client user interface. The sleek new look of Resource Scheduler v11 was inspired by modern, mobile interfaces and features streamlined views while retaining the familiar workflow options. This redesign will improve the user interface while maintaining full functionality.
Asure VP Solutions Architect Jeff Roof said Resource Scheduler v11 represented the most significant improvement to the user interface in the past 16 years. “Besides being aesthetically pleasing, the Resource Scheduler v11 navigation and calendar controls have been updated to make the application friendlier to users of touchscreen computers and tablets,” he said. “New timeline and agenda views have also been added to provide even more robust calendar views. Resource Scheduler v11 is the foundation upon which our agile workplace solutions will continue to be enhanced.”
Resource Scheduler clients have access to a preview of the new user interface so they can familiarize themselves with the new appearance and improved navigation. The limited-time preview site allows system administrators to access a generic system for the purpose of trying out common workflows and identifying any changes that may need to be communicated to end users.
Resource Scheduler v11 also expands support to include the latest releases of desktop and back-office products including Outlook, Windows and SQL Server.
Asure Global SVP of Technology Joe Karbowski said research and industry data indicated applications had multiple user-entry points, from desktops and laptops to tablets and mobile phones. “To that end, we are very excited about our version 11 release of Resource Scheduler,” he said. “It not only includes a fresh new style but also utilizes responsive design technologies to provide a seamless experience, no matter what device our customers happen to be using at the moment.” Mr. Karbowski said v11 also included numerous back-office enhancements to “further establish it as the leading agile workplace platform that global and mobile savvy companies can leverage to provide a 360 degree view into the success of their initiatives.”
