As part of the RayQC family which is developed by Raynet, RayQC Advanced expands the quality management in the area of software packaging. This module enables companies to execute automated collision- and compatibility tests. These tests verify if software packages are fit for usage on the relevant operating system. To avoid collisions between different software on a client, collision tests can be executed and, at the same time, software can be tested on its general availability in a virtual environment.
“At the moment, approximately eight out of ten companies think actively about Windows 10. This is exactly where a pre-analysis with RayQC Advanced is most valuable. It not only identifies risks for a migration and thereby helps to counter them, but also grants a detailed overview of the efforts, in time as well as commercial aspects, which need to be considered for a migration in the area of software packaging.”, says Ragip Aydin, managing director of Raynet GmbH.
This release of RayQC Advanced 2.2 enables user to directly resolve compatibility issues that have been found during a system readiness check. The AUTOMATIC TROUBLESHOOTING OF COMPATIBILITY PROBLEMS during system readiness checks has been successfully integrated into the newest version of RayQC Advanced. By this, errors which occurred during a test can be fixed instantly.
To offer more comfort to our users, next to the default language English, German has been added as second language a second language.
The NEW MIGRATION WIZARD has been developed to assist with the planning and the execution of OS migrations. With the help of the migration wizard, collision and OS readiness tests can be executed against a whole bunch of packages at once.
Full-fledged support for IMPORT AND TESTING OF APP-V PACKAGES is also part of this release of RayQC Advanced.
Individual needs are covered through the CREATION OF YOUR OWN CUSTOM RULES. Checklist which are created in RayQC can now be imported into RayQC Advanced and then be used as new rules for testing.
With RayQC Advanced, companies are offered a tool which enables them to detect and to fix disruptive factors right at the beginning of the deployment. Convince yourself on www.win10ready.com and try it for free. RayQC Advanced will test your package automatically and create a report which shows if your application is compatible with Windows 10.
