Organizations are struggling with fragmented content across many disparate locations and applications, according to the latest AIIM Content Analytics Trendscape.
The Trendscape reveals the obstacles to content analytics adoption that need to be overcome and shares some of the lessons learned from early adopters. Based on the thoughts and discussions from a number of vendors, analysts and end-users at a recent AIIM Executive Leadership Council (ELC), the Content Analytics Trendscape goes on to reveal an eight-point plan to help put content analytics at the heart of any organization.
“Content is fast becoming a major asset for organizations all over the world,” said John Mancini, AIIM’s president. “But for content to bring true value, smart and effective content analytics is an enterprise must-have. Our esteemed ELC panel of thought leaders, end-users and vendors has shared their knowledge, experience and expertise to support this Content Analytics Trendscape and to offer their thoughts on how to bring content analytics to the forefront in your organization.”
The Content Analytics Trendscape was compiled by AIIM’s Executive Leadership Council, drawn from 50 senior end-user and industry executives in the US and Europe. The ELC was formed in 2012 by AIIM as a think tank to define, discuss and offer directives on today’s emerging issues in information management.
