Today, at the 2018 HIMSS Annual Conference and Exhibition, Information Builders, a leader in business intelligence (BI) and analytics, information integrity, and integration solutions, has announced the launch of Care Insights and of Omni-HealthData 3.0.
Care Insights draws from Information Builders’ affiliation with St. Luke’s University Health Network and its deep understanding of data technology and the implications for effective and efficient healthcare practices. It is the latest addition to Omni HealthData Insights’ portfolio of applications, which, together with the Omni-HealthData 3.0 platform, are designed to give payers and providers a comprehensive view of the healthcare practice, including patient, employee, and member data – all in one place.
Care Insights is designed to provide healthcare’s front lines with the data needed for value-based care and population health initiatives by supporting the analysis of populations, care management, clinical and financial outcomes, provider performance, payer contract performance, quality, and cost. Using the solution, healthcare providers like St. Luke’s can focus closely on quality and utilization data across their network to monitor patient cohorts, create quality benchmarks, and identify opportunities for improved patient care.
The solution is built on the foundation of Omni-HealthData’s repositories and leverages its automated support capabilities for third-party grouper integration and pre-built metrics and algorithms to pull data from existing information repositories. With Care Insights, healthcare professionals can easily evaluate key metrics via an executive dashboard, and access reports, analytics, and data visualizations for insights on population and care management, network evaluation and provider performance, quality performance, efficiency, and contract performance.
Omni-HealthData provides healthcare organizations with a single platform for creating and leveraging information applications such as Care Insights. It incorporates data integration, data quality, and master data management technology to ensure a highly governed and integrated information strategy. Omni-HealthData 3.0 continues the success of the unified platform by now supporting payers and providers with integrated insights into their practices.
Omni-HealthData 3.0 includes the following new features:
• Added grouper support and multi-dimensional metric tables, as well as pre-built algorithms for increased immediate value
• Redesigns that support better acceptance of higher volume capacity data
• Updates to the underlying management of platform and console, permitting more complex monitoring
• Sophisticated console enhancements that enable organizations to monitor on ramps and view underlying management facilities activity
Information Builders will continue to add increased functionality to Omni-HealthData in the coming months. Forthcoming enhancements include a consumption view builder, which will enable healthcare organizations to automate the generation and management of specialized SQL tables, and added end-to-end lineage that will include a separate, automated repository for BI consumption views.
