RippleNami, a cloud-based data visualization platform, announced today it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with BanQu, the first-ever blockchain technology platform and network that enables economic identities for refugees and impoverished people around the world. When these disruptive technologies unite, amazing innovation brings about dramatic change.
The partnership will allow the two companies to develop a technology integration between RippleNami’s data visualization mapping platform and BanQu’s blockchain economic identity technology solution. BanQu and RippleNami will approach customers with this robust big data, integrated visualization platform that empowers users with access to real-time information in areas such as East Africa, Latin America and South America, as well as countries with large refugee populations.
Imagine three billion people living in either extreme poverty and/or refugee camps being unable to capture their meaningful life events such as banking, healthcare records, global supply chain and more. Now, they can gain access to credit and other financial services by visualizing their world on an easy-to-use map. Women and children in Africa spend countless hours every day looking for clean water. Now, they can easily find water so children can instead spend their time in school. Organizations such as non profits, governments and corporations are now able to break down data silos, solve problems, make critical decisions and use RippleNami’s solution to collaborate directly and in real-time with those in need like never before.
RippleNami and BanQu joined forces to combine their technologies to affect change and enable people to participate in a global economy. The companies believe that empowered with an economic identity and real-time, easily accessible information, people around the world can connect, foster positive change and thrive like never before.
“Partnering with RippleNami provides BanQu the opportunity to further our efforts in meeting the needs of refugees and displaced people who find themselves excluded from the global economy. RippleNami’s mapping solution that enables real-time visualization of data is directly aligned with our technology goal of providing people living in poverty around the world with an economic identity so they have access to credit and services by financial institutions,” said Ashish Gadnis, founder and CEO of BanQu. “We are thrilled to be working with the RippleNami team.”
“RippleNami’s core purpose is to connect the unconnected by mapping the resources and events around them. Our partnership with BanQu allows, for the very first time, the unconnected to positively identify themselves and control their future,” stated Phil Gahn, RippleNami founder and chief development officer.
“This strategic partnership is yet another milestone in RippleNami’s successful quest to make a difference with unconnected populations around the world by connecting them with the resources they need to survive and thrive. Our mapping technology coupled with BanQu’s ability to create economic opportunities for people living in extreme poverty will bring about meaningful opportunity and change around the world,” said Jaye Connolly-LaBelle, president and CEO of RippleNami, Inc.
